Terminal and Git

The built-in terminal and Git review, on the PC only.

Terminal

Toggle the terminal with Ctrl+Backtick and open more tabs with Ctrl+Alt+T. Terminals start in the project folder. What you type there is not permission-checked and does not appear in the session; commands the agent runs appear as tool steps. The phone and this site never get a shell.

Git review

Open the review panel with Ctrl+Shift+R. For Git projects it compares in three modes:

ModeShows
UncommittedWorking-tree changes
BranchChanges on the current branch against the default branch
Last turnWhat the agent changed in its latest turn

Projects without Git show Create Git repository.

Worktrees

When starting a session you can choose Create new worktree to run it on its own branch in a separate folder, keeping your checkout untouched. A project can have a startup script (for example bun install) that runs in each new worktree.

What BambooKit does not do

BambooKit does not commit, push or pull by itself. The agent may run Git commands through its shell tool, under your permission rules (for example, ask before git push).
