Projects
Folders on your PC that you work in.
A project is a folder you opened in BambooKit Desktop (Add project, Ctrl+O). Each project belongs to the PC it was opened on.
BambooKit Cloud knows only the project's name, its folder path on the PC and its current Git branch, so the phone and this site can list it. No file contents are stored.
On the phone and the web
- Phone → Projects lists every project with its PC and branch, and the sessions in it. In a session, the Project view browses the project's folders and files live from the PC.
- Web → Sessions shows each session's project.
Git branch and worktrees
For Git repositories the current branch is shown and updates when it changes. When starting a session in Desktop you can run it in the project folder or Create new worktree, which isolates the agent's work on its own branch. A project without Git can get one with Create Git repository in the review panel.
Starting work
Open the project in Desktop and send the first prompt there, or on the phone choose Projects → the project → New session, type the first prompt and pick a model. The PC that owns the project creates the session in the project's folder, so that PC must be online.
Managing projects
At the bottom of your Profile (phone) and on the Account page, Projects managed lists every project with its PC, branch and coding time. Mark a project Active, Completed or Archived to keep the list tidy; this is stored by BambooKit only and does not touch the folder on your PC.
