App lock
Lock the Android app with your fingerprint, face or screen lock.
BambooKit for Android can lock the app with your fingerprint, face or the phone's screen lock (PIN, pattern or password). Desktop and this website have no app lock of their own; they rely on your Windows sign-in and browser.
Turn it on
Profile → App lock → Turn on App lock, then confirm it's you. The phone must have a screen lock; if it has none, the app asks you to set one in Android Settings first.

Locked: Unlock → fingerprint, face or screen lock → app- Android does the check; BambooKit stores only whether App lock is on and never sees your fingerprint, face or PIN.
- While locked, the whole app is covered and hidden from accessibility services. Notifications and the live connection keep working.
- If you later remove the phone's screen lock, the app asks you to set one again or turn App lock off.

If a phone is lost
- On another device, revoke it: its access ends immediately.
- Change your password with Forgot password? (email accounts), or remove access in your Google account.
